Ever since I was a little girl, I remember Grandma and Grandpa taking me on long car rides. We would drive from their two-acre place, outside Boise city limits, southwest past Kuna to Swan Falls or west through lush Idaho farm land. One time, we ended up at the entrance to the Kuna Caves - out in the middle of nowhere! It was exciting to see where we would end up next, and although those rides seemed to tediously stretch out forever to my very young self, I wouldn't trade those precious memories for anything. Oh, to be on an adventure with them once more!
Now that I'm a woman, I've taken my own children on many adventures across the great state of Idaho. We've found the entrance to the Kuna Caves, trekked through the alien landscape of Craters of the Moon, and climbed above alpine lakes of the Trinity Mountains. I love this state with its breathtaking views and hidden treasures!
